Paris Hilton to star in Celebrity Big Brother

Paris Hilton is set show the world that she is more than just an "heirhead socialite" on the hit reality show Big Brother.

Simple life star has been told to "name her price" according to a Big Brother source, which will certainly be higher than the £300,000 amount offered to the Bollywood superstar Shilpa Shetty who won the previous show.

Paris, 26, is desperate to raise her profile in the UK - and is prepared to be locked up for another 3 weeks in the Channel 4 house.

The Toxic singer Britney Spears allegedly snubbed Victoria Beckham by storming out of a restaurant when she was offered a table next to the Spice Girl.

Britney is said to have stormed out of the restaurant at Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel when she was offered a table next to the Spice Girl and her husband David Beckham last week.

A witness told the New York Daily News: "Britney Spears turned up at the Chateau and the only table available was the one next to Posh.
