Australian tennis star Mark Philippoussis saw it coming from a mile away, and eliminated Jodie Fisher in the first round of the reality dating series Age of Love.
But that didn't stop Jodie to go after a bigger fish. After she was hired by HP's marketing department in 2007 to organize events for HP executives, and get paid up to $5,000 per event, she set her eyes, or might I say claws, on Mark Hurd, C.E.O. of Hewlett-Packard.
Unfortunately for Mark, he never watched Age of Love, since otherwise he would probably know how to tame the cougar that would later file a sexual harassment complaint that would cost him his job at H.P..
Anyhow, to make a long story short, thanks to the lawyers, and usurious price of HP's printer cartridges, everyone lived happily ever after. Hurd will allegedly receive as much as $53 million in cash and HP stocks, half of this will probably go to Hurd's soon to be ex wife. Jodie got her share with an out of court settlement.
It seems that the only people who got shafted in this story were the numerous shareholders of HP stock. Judging by yesterdays stock slide, they are all on Xanax at the moment.
